Essay

The dissertation is a completed scientific work, which solves the problem of creating a set of new methods of multifunctional Stokes-correlometry of polarization-inhomogeneous object fields of optical-anisotropic biological layers by improving traditional polarization and development of new polarization-correlation, interference and digital provide comprehensive information on two- and three-dimensional distributions of polarization and phase parameters of laser fields transformed by polycrystalline networks of biological layers of different morphological structure and physiological state. The urgency of the dissertation research is due to the need to develop new integrated approaches to the analysis of polarization-inhomogeneous laser fields of biological tissues and fluids, search for new azimuthal-independent methods of Stokes polarimetry, polarization-correlation mapping of polycrystalline biological networks, and laser diffraction mechanisms of their phase anisotropy. The obtained results can be used in many fundamental applications of modern biomedical optics - diffusion and photoacoustic tomography, fluorometry, optical coherence tomography, phase and confocal microscopy.
