Ivanovska A. Constitutional control in the system of state control: theorical, legal and pro-economic principles

The thesis is devoted to a comprehensive study of constitutional control in the system of state control. The category-content preconditions of the study of the Institute of Constitutional Control as a type of state control activity have been described. It has been analyzed the history of formation and modern models of constitutional control. The author reveals the concept of constitutional control as a type of state control activity. Constitutional control is a specific activity of state bodies endowed with special competence directly in the main law, based on law enforcement and law-making principles and aimed at ensuring the supremacy of the constitution in the legal system of society, which is carried out according to a strictly defined procedure and consists in checking, identifying, ascertaining and eliminating inconsistencies to the constitution of laws, other normative acts, as well as actions (inaction) of public authorities, organizations or public associations, implementation of official interpretation of the constitution and laws and making decisions on this basis that are binding and final in their legal consequences
