Essay

The fundamental study of the problem of vocational training of future junior specialists in nursing in medical colleges has been carried out in the thesis. For the first time it has been developed, scientifically substantiated, experimentally checked and implemented the system of vocational training of future junior specialists in nursing in colleges that includes targeted, scientifically-methodological, theoretically-semantic, procedurally-methodical and resultative subsystems. The structural-functional model of the pedagogical system, which contains five blocks, has been designed: targeted, scientifically-methodological, theoretically-semantic, procedurally-methodical, resultative. Model reflects the system of specific organization of nursing education in colleges based on its pedagogical potential, the central link of which are the principles, methodological approaches, author’s methods and the expected result, which ensure the formation of readiness of future specialists in nursing for the professional activity. Pedagogical conditions of vocational training of future junior specialists in nursing in medical colleges (creation of motivational and value professionally oriented educational environment in medical college; direction of the competence approach to provide interdisciplinary-integrative theoretical training; convergence of interactive, problem-based and simulation learning in the praxeological training of junior specialists in nursing; formation of professional identity in professionally mobile junior specialists in nursing) have been identified and theoretically substantiated. Pedagogical potential of medical college in training of future junior specialists in nursing as a set of possibilities (constant professional and personal growth; introduction of scientific innovations into technology-saturated educational environment of college; orientation of the educational process for enriching the traditions of medicine development, taking into account its current trends; digitization and network technologies in nursing education) and resources (scientifically-educational, staff, informational, methodical, materially-technical, instrumentally-technological), which provide a successful formation of readiness of future junior specialists in nursing for the professional activity, have been revealed. The concept of «readiness for the professional activity», which is considered as a professionally-personal phenomenon that reflects the ability of students to realize the social significance of qualitative training for professional activity of junior specialists in nursing, taking into account its priorities, professional values in the dynamics of social relationships, has been concretized and introduced into scientific circulation. Readiness is characterized by an appropriate level of professional competence, the desire for continuous self-improvement and mastering new advances in medicine and nursing. Personal potential of college students in the formation of readiness for the professional activity has been found, which determines the motivation to provide qualitative nursing care; axiological attitudes of health and healthy lifestyle; formation of general cultural and professional competencies of nursing activity; humanistic priorities in strategies of professional self-development; activity and independence in educational and professional activities. The priority role of student-centered interaction «student – instructor – group of students» in the formation of readiness of future junior specialists in nursing for the professional activity, due to the qualitative transformation of the student’s personal potential in integration with the pedagogical potential of medical college has been proved. Pedagogical technologies (web quests, simulation of professional roles and strategies design technologies, social and moral practices of medical orientation) in the context of formation of readiness of future JSN for the professional activity have been substantially modernized.
