Essay

The thesis is devoted to the solution of scientific problem of the development of novel and improvement of existing methods of spin wave (SW) excitation and control in ultrathin ferromagnetic films and waveguides, which would be suitable for the creation of energy-efficient nanoscale elements of magnonic logic and other spin-wave electronics systems. The possibility of SW excitation by a microwave electric field via the voltage-controlled magnetic anisotropy is demonstrated. The methods of spin-wave amplitude and phase stabilization are proposed. The ways to increase of the coherence and stability of the single-bullet generation in quasi-one-dimensional spin-Hall oscillators are developed. Methods for calculation of the dispersion, damping rates in the presence of inhomogeneous and/or nonlocal dissipation mechanisms, as well as of the SW coupling strength in nearby located dipolarly coupled waveguides, are developed.
