The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of theoretical and methodical bases and scientific and practical recommendations on maintenance of sustainable development of business in agriculture. The concept of sustainable development originated as the ecological development of socio-economic relations in the global dimension. All sustainable development scenarios were developed and implemented exclusively for the whole society, for the whole economy of a country. However, sustainable development of the whole country is possible only with the sustainable development of its components (industries, ecology, society, specific region or territory) or certain types of economic activity (agriculture, industry, transport, education, etc.) or economic entities. farms, cooperatives, agricultural entrepreneurship, etc.). Therefore, the issue of ensuring sustainable development of entrepreneurship in agriculture as part of the national process of sustainable development is relevant today. The influence of entrepreneurship on the economy and the degree of its dependence on entrepreneurship is characterized and entrepreneurship is defined as the driving force that drives the economy and society of most countries. Accordingly, three main models of business development are characterized. The study reveals the importance and role of entrepreneurship.
