Seheda S. The development of agrarian production: theory, methodology, practice

Object – the process of development of agricultural and food production of Ukraine in the period of transformational changes; goal – development of theoretical, methodological, organizational and scientific-practical principles and recommendations aimed at the development of agricultural and food production of Ukraine in the transformation of economic relations; methods – dialectical, historical-logical, statistical, monographic, computational-constructive; novelty – the definition of "agricultural and food production" is offered, which is proposed to be considered from three sides: as a socio-economic structure, as an organizational and production structure, as a technical and technological structure; the conceptual model of sustainable development of agricultural and food production in the national security system of Ukraine has been developed; the methodological approaches to identify the relationship between production and consumption of agri-food products and human health and life through economic and statistical methods of dynamic forecasting are proposed; results – the scientific approach to defining the essence of the agricultural holding as a corporate association of agricultural, industrial, processing and other enterprises are conceptually substantiated; the wide range of tools for mathematical evaluation of relevant parameters to substantiate conclusions about the current state and trends in food production and consumption are used; the content of the structure of agro-food products in foreign trade is specified and the proposals on supplementing the Ukrainian classification of goods of foreign economic activity with the corresponding commodity positions are substantiated; the strategy of sustainable development of agricultural production, especially in terms of preserving the environmental friendliness of land, forest and water resources, ensuring product quality and development of its own modern agricultural machinery are substantiated; the innovative model of agricultural production based on the production of its own environmentally friendly products, which provides for an increase in budget revenues, development of the processing industry and the formation of quality components of human potential are proposed.
