Essay

The dissertation presents the results of theoretical research of didactic and methodical bases of control and assessment of educational achievements of junior schoolchildren under realization of the newest functions of control and assessment activity. The content of the leading categories is revealed and specified, i.e. educational achievements, experience of activity of a junior schoolchild, tools of control and assessment of educational achievements, measurement of achievements, learnability, etc. The semantic range of educational achievements of primary school students in the context of the new educational paradigm is determined. Didactic bases of elaboration of assessment criteria of educational results of applicants of primary education are highlighted; criteria and indicators for measuring educational and personal achievements of primary school students developed. The method of creation of diagnostic tasks for formative and final assessment of learning outcomes, incoming diagnosis of students' learning from different educational branches on the basis of their leading goals is substantiated and developed. Based on the results of testing the developed methodology, methodological principles are determined and a list of didactic requirements for designing tools for measuring educational outcomes at different stages of the learning process is formed.
