Makarenko S. Formation of an innovative strategy for the development of an industrial enterprise

The dissertation is devoted to the scientific substantiation and development of theoretical and methodological principles, scientific-methodical and practical recommendations for the formation of an innovative strategy for the development of an industrial enterprise. It is established that strategic management is one of the most important means of ensuring the successful functioning of the business entity in a dynamic competitive environment, a means of its rapid adaptation to change. It was found out that among the main problems that hinder the active innovative development of industrial enterprises the following ones should be noted: lack of a single regulatory framework for innovations as well as the specifics of innovations; lack of a modern base for the implementation of research results; lack of staff capable of effective management of the innovation process; the presence of the phenomenon of resistance to innovation among employees of enterprises; lack of financial support from state executive bodies and local self-government; difficulties in conducting marketing research on the amount of demand for innovative products due to constant changes in accounting methods by the government statistics bodies. It is substantiated that the successful implementation of innovative activities should be based on the principles of priority of innovative development, scientific novelty, feasibility, minimization of risk, increasing the competitiveness of products and the enterprise as a whole, as well as norms, rules of conduct that establish the relationship between development of the enterprise and directions of its innovative activity. A conceptual model for identifying the level of development of an industrial enterprise has been developed, the key role in which is assigned to the processes of determining: the influence of the main factors of production on the level of competitiveness of an industrial enterprise; reference points and limits of fluctuation of the proposed indicators; the level of competitiveness of an industrial enterprise by combining in the multiplication of integrated indicators of efficiency and riskiness of economic activity in the dynamics under the reporting periods and in comparison with the group of industrial enterprises under study. The proposed model allows a comprehensive and systematic review of the processes of evaluation and formation of an innovative strategy for the development of an industrial enterprise and its identification among other enterprises in the industry. The expediency of the symbiosis of intuitive and formalized methods in determining the influence of environmental factors and building an optimal forecast model of innovative development of an industrial enterprise has been substantiated. The methodological approaches of research of innovative strategy of development of the industrial enterprise has been generalized and the algorithm of an estimation of process of its choice is offered. The technique of the complex analysis of activity of the industrial enterprises in the conditions of attraction of innovations and competitiveness in the regional and national markets is offered. The scientific and methodological approach to forecasting the efficiency of an industrial enterprise under the influence of management decisions to attract innovation has been improved. The scientific and methodological approach to determining the overall risk rating of economic activity of an industrial enterprise has been substantiated. Methodological provisions for innovative analysis of industrial production efficiency taking into account the dynamics of change and the competitive environment have been formed. It has been proposed to assess the efficiency of economic activity of an industrial enterprise using the following indicators: labor productivity, capital efficiency, material efficiency, asset turnover ratio, the amount of personnel costs. A dynamic and strategic map of innovative development of an industrial enterprise has been developed. The influence of the human factor of industrial production on innovation processes has been determined. A model of personnel evaluation has been developed, which allows to provide a comprehensive account of changes in the levels of personal professional competence during the reporting period and in comparison with similar indicators of employees of the unit under study, with the results of overall teamwork. The essential interdependence of the production load of the staff has been revealed through the definition of the maximum load at which the maximum productivity of individual and collective activity can be achieved. An algorithm for the interaction of an industrial enterprise with the external environment for the implementation of optimal innovative solutions has been proposed.
