Lovska A. Development of scientific foundations for calculating wagon structures by taking into account the above-norm cases of their operation

The object of research is the processes of emergence, absorption and redistribution of loadings in the structures of wagons, as well as their innovative development. The research was carried out using methods of mathematical statistics, methods of developing differential equations, Lagrange’s method of the second order, methods of theoretical mechanics, the finite element method, Fisher’s method, the method of mathematical planning of experiment, the method of determination of the project life cycle. As a result of the research, the relevant scientific and applied problem of improvement of wagon functioning efficiency is solved by taking into account the above-norm modes at operation, namely, at transportation of combined transport trains on railway ferries, as well as at shunting collisions. The scope of the dissertation results is wagon building.
