Object – the process of ensuring the competitiveness of the food industry in Ukraine; the goal is the development of theoretical and methodological foundations, methodological provisions and practical recommendations to ensure the competitiveness of the food industry in Ukraine on the basis of its persistent transformation; methods – structural and logical analysis; historical-logical and analytical-comparative analysis; statistical methods; methods of system analysis; graphic methods; methods based on the theory of effective competition; novelty - substantiation of new theoretical and methodological provisions regarding the theoretical and methodological foundations of ensuring the competitiveness of the food industry in Ukraine on the basis of its persistent transformation; theoretical and practical results, the degree of implementation – the results obtained in the process of research were used and received positive feedback in the state management bodies for agro-industrial development and management of agricultural policy in the Odessa region and local government bodies in the food industry subjects of various organizational - legal forms to ensure their competitiveness, development and efficiency of functioning, enterprises of the direction of audit activity, in the university for training students of economic specialties of all levels of higher education, in particular, are introduced: structural units of the Odessa Regional State Administration engaged in agrarian -policy (certificate No. 16-8-04-1036 of 12/07/2010; certificate No. 03-19 / 590 of 03/26/2013; certificate No. 04/918 of 10/19/2020), Markovsky the village council of the Razdelnyansky district of the Odessa region, v. Markovka (certificate No. 364/02 dated October 26, 2020), LLC "Profaudit", Odessa (certificate No. 14 / 05.12 dated May 14, 2020), CJSC "Odesakonditer", Odessa (certificate No. 17- 26 of 03/06/2020), JV "Vitmark Ukraine" in the form of LLC, Odessa (certificate No. 19/15 of 12.0.2016), CJSC "Odessa factory of sparkling wines", Odessa (reference No. 1566 of October 23, 2012), Shabo LLC, Odessa (certificate No. 248/1 dated May 16, 2012), Odessavinprom CJSC (certificate No. 368 of June 15, 2012), Korpo -radiation Nikolaevsadvinprom SVK "Limanskiy" (certificate No. 5 dated 01/25/2012), SVK "Druzhba", p. Zarya of the Saratsky district of the Odessa region (certificate No. 489 dated 05.11.2012). Certain provisions of the thesis are used in the educational process when conducting classes in the disciplines "Financial Analysis", "Management Accounting", "Audit" for students of specialty 071 "Accounting and Taxation" and when performing qualification works of the student of Bachelor Degree and student of Master Degree in specialty 071 "Accounting and Taxation" at the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies (acts of implementation of December 27, 2019 and December 23, 2020). Some of the results of the dissertation were introduced in higher education institutions when teaching the disciplines "Organization and methodology of economic analysis" and "Financial analysis" and are reflected in three editions of the textbook "Economic analysis (workshop)" in 2010, 2012 and 2015 (co-authored), which is recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for students of higher educational institutions (letter No. 1/11-2323 of 03.24.2010); branch - economics and management of the national economy.
