Essay

Object – the process of radiation and conversion of electromagnetic fields in wireless power transmission (WPT) systems. Aim – development of the general theory of WPT systems on the basis of the complex approach with use of applied electrodynamics methods and circuit engineering which from single positions allows to carry out the analysis and optimization of the WPT systems on different energy transfer technology with nonlinear properties. Subject – mathematical models of WPT systems, which ensure the design accuracy acceptable for the practice. Methods – method of integral equations, mathematical methods of electrodynamics and theory of antennas with nonlinear elements, mathematical apparatus of the theory of microwave circuits and multipoles. Results – is developed a nonlinear mathematical model of the electrodynamic level of the WPT system based on the theory of multi-input antennas with nonlinear characteristics; is improved the theory of transmitting antennas with nonlinear characteristics for the Fresnel zone; is proved theoretically the conditions of application of the infinite array approximation for the analysis of large-aperture rectenna arrays; is developed the technique of the large-aperture rectenna arrays analysis which are excited by an electromagnetic field with non-uniform amplitude distribution; is developed practical recommendations for the design of multifunctional WPT systems with high energy performance. Implementation – state research № SR 0111U002903, № SR 0119U002522, educational process KhNURE. Application – wireless power transmission.
