Essay

Object of the research is processes of assessing and ensuring of availability, safety and security of the cloud systems for critical infrastructures. Purpose of the research is increasing of cloud systems’ availability of the critical infrastructures by developing and applying methods, technologies for evaluating and choosing of faulttolerant architectures and characteristics of the reliability and security for their integrated physical and virtual components. The methods of system analysis, probability theory, stochastic estimation methods, Semi-Markov modeling methods, methods for constructing structural reliability diagrams, fault trees analysis and attacks were leveraged by author in order to solve the scientific problem. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the fact that they are the basis for the development and implementation of algorithms, software and information technology for testing the resource of cloud providers, which use to meet general requirements for critical infrastructures. Results of the thesis research were introduced in educational process of the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” and at the industrial level in the relevant enterprise facilities of Ukraine. The obtained scientific results can be used by developers in the application of critical infrastructures, cloud systems and technologies.
