Pilyavsky V. Capacity management in the competitive environment of agro-industrial enterprises: theory, methodology, practice

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of an important scientific problem concerning development and substantiation of theoretical-methodological, scientific-methodical and applied bases of management of potential in the competitive environment of the enterprises of agro-industrial production. The paper characterizes the essence of the potential of the enterprise, its competitive environment and competitive advantages, considers the internal structure of the main components of the potential and shows the impact of the environment on its formation and development. The potential of the enterprise of agro-industrial production as an object of management, interrelations of components and their interaction is revealed. The method of economic diagnostics and graphoanalytical models of labor potential management are developed. The state and results of food production are analyzed, the raw materials and resource base of agro-industrial production are assessed and the strengths and weaknesses of the use of potential in the competitive environment of agro-industrial production enterprises are identified. A methodical approach to the choice of competitive strategies, management mechanisms, a plan for the organization of an integrated computer network and risk assessment in the management of the potential of agro-industrial enterprises have been developed. The use of outsourcing, venture investment and the formation of a system of labor monitoring in the management of the potential of agro-industrial enterprises is proposed.
