The dissertation research is devoted to the problem of formation of creative potential of choreographers in the system of continuous education. In particular, a theoretical generalization is made and a new synergetic-flow approach to solving the scientific problem is proposed, which is based on adequate research of methodological guidelines in determining the essence and content of the choreographer’s creative potential, systematization of its corresponding categorical apparatus content in the system of continuing pedagogical education.
Theoretical and methodical bases of formation of creative potential of choreographers in the system of continuous education are substantiated; the conceptual and terminological apparatus of pedagogy has been expanded due to the introduction of new categories and clarification of such concepts as: «professional formation of personality», «choreographic activity», «individual resource of a choreographer», «individual trajectories of professional and creative formation»; general pedagogical concept of «formation of creative potential of a choreographer"; author’s interpretations of the concepts "modern dance» and «modern choreography» are given, received an author’s definition, different from the existing ones, which expanded the scope of its application in the theory and methodology of continuing choreographic education; the author’s concept of formation of creative potential of choreographers in the system of continuous education is developed; designed and experimentally tested the system of forming the creative potential of choreographers in the system of continuing education, which is presented in the model «nature of the body in the context of dance»; created diagnostic tools for assessing the level of formation of creative potential of choreographers; modern dance in the system of choreographic education is highlighted as a direction that significantly affects the state of development of creative abilities of the individual and is an important prerequisite for activating the process of forming the creative potential of the choreographer; improvisation is considered as a system that has 4 stages of development, the levels of formation of all stages of improvisation are considered as an essential component of the formation of the creative potential of choreographers; the level of awareness of the practice of Laban analysis and Baste Bartenieff (LMA and BF) is proposed as a basic component of the formation and development of creative potential of choreographers; proved that the ideas of the system-activity approach form the methodological basis for the development of the author’s model, which contributes to the formation of creative potential of choreographers from the standpoint of more general systems – culture, science, choreographic education according to the new project-creative paradigm of continuing education.
The ways and mechanisms of formation of creative potential of choreographers in the system of continuous education are also improved; the expediency of selecting the content of the formation of creative potential on an interdisciplinary integrative basis as a means of forming holistic knowledge is proved; theoretical substantiation of the purpose of formation of creative potential of choreographers, which provides free development and self-actualization of students in the process of mastering choreographic and pedagogical knowledge and professional thinking.
The concept of formation of creative potential of choreographers taking into account requirements of the present is scientifically substantiated and developed; the theoretical model of formation of creative potential of choreographers as an integration component of process of continuous education is constructed; methodical system is covered in detail; theoretical approaches to structuring and content of the course are clarified; the organizational and methodical tools of training are defined, in particular possibilities of use in the educational process of the newest choreographic technologies are found out.
Developed on the basis of the model educational complex «Nature of the body in the context of dance», where the lecture course is created on a chronological principle and interdisciplinary links, and practical – covers the technique of mastering modern dance techniques (contemporary dance, dance improvisation, LMA, BF) and proposed such a complex.
The validity of the proposed theoretical and methodological principles has been experimentally confirmed, the effectiveness of the integrative competence model developed on their basis has been proved, which has been introduced into the system of continuous education of choreographers.
