Theoretical bases of socio-economic security of sustainable development of sanatorium and resort enterprises are investigated. The urgent significance of the socio-economic security problems of the enterprises in today's conditions are highlighted. The etymology of the meanings "security", "social security" and "economic security" is studied and defined. The essence and significance of socio-economic security of enterprises are determined. The theoretical foundations of sustainable development of enterprises in the context of socio-economic security are determined, where the concept of sustainable development is studied from the standpoint of conservative, evolutionary and systemic approaches. The basic principles of the concept of Sustainable Development are determined. Based on the study, a model of sustainable development of economic entities is proposed. The normative-legal provision of social and economic security of economic entities, in particular the laws of general action, normative-legal acts of related action and normative-legal acts of special action are investigated. Based on the study of the regulatory framework for business activities, specific measures for the development of their activities are proposed. The importance of sanatorium and resort enterprises in providing social needs and improving the labor activity of agricultural workers is outlined. It is determined that meeting the social needs of agricultural workers is the main motivator for improving their employment.
