Object: there is a process of institutional regulation of economic security. Purpose: development of theoretical and methodological provisions, methodological bases and scientific and practical recommendations for institutional regulation of economic security and its improvement. Methods: methods of abstraction, generalization, induction, deduction, analysis, synthesis; historical method; method of multidimensional logic; process approach; graphic method; the method of hierarchies; method of chain substitutions; value-oriented, program-targeted; method of situational analysis; method of statistical analysis. The following is proposed: a scientific and methodological approach to the formation of the concept of institutional regulation of economic security of Ukraine is developed; the components of the strategy of economic security regulation in Ukraine are proposed; a conceptual approach to the development of a mechanism for institutional regulation of economic security is presented; the components of the structural model for assessing the impact of possible threats to Ukraine's economic security are substantiated.
