Object: processes of transformational changes in the system of the national economy, which ensure the sustainable development structural balance. Subject: theoretical and conceptual positions, methodological, scientific-methodical and applied principles of forming the national economy sustainable development structural balance. Methods of research: epistemological and content analysis; analysis, synthesis, systems approach and scientific abstraction; construction of concepts and categories; economic-statistical and comparative analysis; institutional analysis; economic and mathematical modeling; graphic modeling; survey and expert evaluation; graphic visualization; abstract-logical. Theoretical results: theoretical and methodological bases of national economy sustainable development structural balance formation have been developed. Practical results: possibilities of Ukraine economy systemic improvement on the basis of the developed conceptual and theoretical bases, scientific and methodical recommendations and methodology of the national economy sustainable development structural balance formation have been substantiated. Scientific novelty: an explication of the definition “socio-economic systems development” has been developed, the concept of the socio-economic system sustainable development structural balance has been formulated and methodologically substantiated, the model of institutional support of the national economy sustainable development structural balance mechanism formation has been designed, it has been improved: systematization of the category “development” terminological range use by dynamic and structural characteristics with the selection of development effectiveness key factors, positioning of the “sustainable development” concept goals in terms of basic structural elements and their complementarity at macro-, meso- and micro-levels, methodological approach to substantiation of the national economy structural changes directions,
