Medianyk V. Administrative and legal support of state social policy in Ukraine

Based on the analysis of theoretical and methodological principles, legislation and practice of the realization of state social policy by public authorities, the dissertation theoretically substantiates and develops practical recommendations on further improvement of their activity, and also formulates proposals for improving the efficiency of administrative law support of the state social policy of Ukraine. It has been established that the accomplishment of the tasks of the welfare state by administrative means is carried out through administrative law support, the purpose of which is not only the regulation of the activities of public authorities and local governments on achievement of the tasks of the welfare state, but also practical implementation of legislation, conditions and guarantees, actual implementation of the concept of the welfare state by the public administration, ensuring the citizens’ exercise of their social rights guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine, their protection and defense.
