The thesis deals with complex research of methodological and practical principles of publicity and dispositiveness in criminal procedure of Ukraine. The author has analyzed theoretical and legal aspects of publicity and dispositiveness in criminal proceedings. He has determined historical aspects of the development of publicity and dispositiveness in criminal proceedings. The essence of the concepts of publicity and dispositiveness has been clarified, the features inherent in these principles have been determined. The correspondence of publicity and dispositiveness to the procedural status of the principles of criminal procedure has been substantiated.
