The dissertation is devoted to the formation of theoretical, methodological and applied foundations regarding strategic vectors for the development of sports and recreational activities in the face of global challenges, which make it possible to delineate powers in the field of sports and recreational activities management, adapt individual sectors to changing environmental conditions, more effectively attract and distribute strategic development resources, and also establish an effective monitoring system. The scientific principles of sports and health-improving activity management under the conditions of global challenges are revealed. The role of sports and health-improving activities in the economic growth of the regional economy is determined. The management of sports and health-improving activities under the conditions of global challenges has been studied. The national peculiarities of the management of sports and health-improving activities and the institutional environment for its provision are determined. Methodological approaches to the formation of strategic vectors of sports and health-improving activity management in the context of global challenges have been studied. The economic interests of the state and other subjects and stakeholders in the development of sports and recreational activities are determined. The essence, structure and properties of the formation of strategic vectors of sports and health-improving activity management in the context of global challenges are disclosed. The models and methods of forming and evaluating the effectiveness of institutional changes in the field of sports and recreational activities have been studied.
