Essay

In the dissertation on the new solution to the scientific problem of managing the competitiveness of agrarian enterprises by substantiating and developing scientific, methodological and practical recommendations for improving the foundations of the formation, implementation and controlling of strategic management of the competitiveness of agrarian enterprises. A detailed scientific and methodical algorithm of formation and implementation of the concept of strategic management of competitiveness in the activity of an agrarian enterprise has been developed, which, unlike existing ones, is a stable consistent relationship between economic and managerial categories "business process of enterprise" - "synergism of business process" - "competitive potential" - "competitive advantages" - "competitiveness of enterprise" and includes seven stages: strategic analysis of enterprise competitiveness, strategic choice, strategic planning, development of a strategic plan for formation of enterprise competitiveness, implementation of a strategy for ensuring enterprise competitiveness, strategic control, strategic adjustment. The methodological matrix of the interrelation of stages, measures and methods (tools) of the process of strategic management of competitiveness of the agrarian enterprise is developed, which is a system of organizational and logical model of this process, combines and strengthens interrelations of various processes of the enterprise, which affect the growth of its efficiency and increase the competitiveness of the agrarian enterprise. The author's classification of internal factors of influence on competitiveness of agricultural enterprises is proposed, which combines seven interconnected groups: technical level of production and level of application of technology, production condition, personnel and degree of its use, financial condition of enterprise, marketing resources, economic efficiency of activity, investment and innovative resources. The study developed a scientific approach to the formation and management of entrepreneurial orientation of agricultural enterprises in order to achieve competitive advantages and the necessary level of their competitiveness, which, unlike existing ones, characterizes the active strategic position of agricultural enterprises and is associated with the continuous development of innovative activities, proactive behavior and willingness to invest in projects with a high degree of uncertainty, which provides the ability to identify and realize existing entrepreneurial opportunities. The conceptual and categorical apparatus of the process of managing the competitiveness of agrarian enterprises, in particular, the content of the concepts of "competitiveness of an agrarian enterprise" and "competition" has been clarified. The competitiveness of an agrarian enterprise is defined as a system consisting of continuously interacting components (factors), opportunities and uncertainties for obtaining the desired rare benefits as a condition for the emergence of a competitive situation and the retention of a long-term competitive advantage. Competition is proposed to be considered as maximizing cyclical (entrepreneurial search and optimal choice of the best available alternatives) self-organization (determined by expectations based on previous experience of interaction in the system) safe (transformation of the conflict into a bargaining situation, where the role of counterparties is insignificant due to the concentration of the exchange process) and voluntary (balancing individual and group interests) redistribution of rare goods (quantity and consumers unknown) based on dynamic (transaction repeatability) changes in price proportions of value (price mechanism). The scientific approach to formation and management of entrepreneurial orientation of agrarian enterprises is proposed in order to achieve competitive advantages and the required level of their competitiveness, which, unlike existing ones, characterizes the active strategic position of agrarian enterprises and is associated with the continuous development of innovation activities, proactive behavior and readiness to invest in projects with a high degree of uncertainty, which ensures the ability to identify and realize existing entrepreneurial opportunities.
