The dissertation is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological principles of managing the selection of directions for technological reengineering of modern industrial production. From the standpoint of the system approach, the structural and logical essence of the concept of "technological reengineering" is substantiated. The theoretical and methodological principles of managing the selection of directions for technological reengineering have been improved. Methodological provisions on the formation of a mechanism for the implementation of technological reengineering are proposed, where the production and technological base of divisions, the management system, industrial relations and the infrastructure of material and technical support of production are defined as objects. The specified mechanism is aimed at optimizing vertical and horizontal functional relationships, improving functional duties, rights and powers, building organizational interaction of internal and external environment subjects, intra-production transfer relations, implementation of an effective system of material and moral encouragement of members of the production team .
