A complex investigation of Palaearctic Formicidae is defensing, the main theses of which are stated in 78 scientific publications. Based on complex approach of studying a group mentioned above, several problems of taxonomy, phylogeny and evolution of formicoids have been solved. Evolution of all Palaearctic ant genera have been searched, and ways of forming Palaearctic myrmecofauna have been shown.
