Essay

The thesis is devoted to the elucidation of mechanisms and importance of blood lipid atherogenic modification both in hypercholesterolemia and as an independent pathogenic factor of atherosclerosis. It was shown that the most universal pathogenic mechanism of atherosclerosis is the increase of blood atherogenity that is determined by blood lipoproteins modification. The leading factor of the oxidative stress that appears in patients with IHD, in natural inflammative process and in its experimental modelling is the blood inflammatory cell activation, first of all - monocytes with the intensification of free-radical processes.
