We hane shown that at the turn of the XIX - XX centuries the leading idea of political thought was the idea of the eatablishment of the Ukrainian state. The peculiarities of mutual influence of the political thought trends at the ideological theoretical level was analyzed. The structure and contents of the idea of stategood elaborated by the representatives of these trends has been studied by means of a system approach.
