Kotsur V. Social Changes and Political Processes in Ukraine in 1920 -1930 year’s: Historiograph.

Basic historiographic stages of studying the history of social changes and political processes in Ukraine in 1920 -1930 year’s are analyzed in the dissertation; influence of totalitarian system on objects and subjects of historical studies - scientists, changing in their views, contents and directions of scientific works is viewed in the paper; the historian’s social responsibility and influence of results of his activities on social consciousness are revealed in the thesisElements of succession in historical studies and a change of paradigms and conceptual approaches at various historiographic stages are observed in the light of continuity and intermittence based on the principle of completion. The author presents the qualitative and quantitative description to works on history of social and political developments of the first decades of bolsheviks’ and soviets’ power in Ukraine, defines the topical problems of the further scientific exploration of the history of social groups, nati onal relations, parties, public organizations, CHEKA and NKVD services. The author deals with a number of debatable issues and historiographic problems.
