Historical evolution of a private-seignior cities of Mecklenburg duchy as centers of trade and political system of Hanza in XII-XV centuries is studied in this paper. Character and essence of the integration process within the vened's subdivision, cause and effect of its transformation into a core of a unit, specific features of Hanza's functioning at different stages of its history are revealed. Mechanisms of local government formation, their relations with local authorities are studied. Peculiarities of Hanza's political methods and diplomatic strategy are observed. Causes, development and results of city social political events, character and aims of burghers' opposition, programs and activity of burghers' committees and Hanza's role in suppression of city rebels are revealed. Preconditions of intercity antiduchy unit formations, their goals and results of their activity are studied.
