Linguistic and sociolinguistic analysis of the ways and means in wich English has grown, of the trends in the development of its vocabulary. This development over the last decades has been going under the conditions of the new stage of scientific and technological advance and reflects the process of the English language adaptation to the new needs of communication. Such adaptation is realized by using the resources generated by the different varieties and subsystems of the multinational, multifunctional English languages in their interaction.
