The thesis is dedicated to some questions concerning open pit mine workings parameters optimization on the basis esteblished regularities in rock masses strengh changes under conditions of their deformed stste. This optimization has been achieved by minimizing the total expenditures on the cjnstruction and exploitation mine workings during their life time. A nonlinear regularity of stability margin coefficient decrease of waste highwall with its deformed state increase has been established. A new formula for the definition of the new theoretical meanings lios been worced out, new techniques have been developed and some regularities of changes in exploitation reliability of open pit mine workings stable state have been defined. An ecjnjmic-mathematscal model for optimal parameters grounding of open pit mine working has been worked out reliable stability standards for benches, quarries and waste heaps walls have been defined.
