Koppel' O. The Problem of Persian Gulf Security in the 1970-s - 1990-s.

The thesis is dedicated to studying peculiarities of formation process of the Persian Gulf security system at three levels (theory and concept, doctrine practical and political). Described are political and military political aspects of situation development in the area of security in this region during the 70-90 -ies. Scientific prognoses has been elaborated for development of destabilizing tendencies at all structural levels of the region. The principles for provision, place and role of security in the Persian Gulf in international relations system are determined. The author's concept of directions to provide regional security at the example of the Persian Gulf is proposed. Given are recommendations concerning formation and realization of Ukrainian policy in the Persian Gulf region security problem included.
