The dissertation is devoted to the problem of athero-genesis and diagnostics atherogenous dislipidemia. The new direction is being developed within the framework of the lipid theory of an atherosclerosis. It is based of the idea about a key role of liquid crystal lipids in athero-genesis. It is estimated that the beginning of atheroscle-rotic process is associated with phase transition of intima lipids from amorphous state to a liquid crystal state. Liquid crystal lipids of atherosclerotic affections have spon-taneous electrical properties. That makes them capable to activate cell proliferation and to initiate a fibrosis, that is the essence of a morphogenesis of an atherosclerotic plaque. It is shown, that formation of a liquid crystal phase in an intima by lipids occurs owing to infringement of lipid transport - a blood plasma " an arterial wall. The mathematical models describing crystal-chemical properties of lipids are developed. The interpreting of the mechanism of intensifying an aggregation of thrombo-cytes (of its first phase) at atherogenous dislipidemia is given. The sensitive way of diagnostics atherogenous dislipidemia is offered, that is based on definition of abil-ity of a lipid fraction of a blood plasma to form a liquid crystal phase. The basic results of work are introduced into clinical practice and educational process
