Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of group-theoretical methods of differential equations research and their applications to wave and heat equations, Maxwell equations with nonlinear constitutive equations. The new method which generalizes the classical Lie method is proposed. Exact solutions which can not be obtained within the classical approach are constructed. Representations of Poincare algebra generating nonlinear transformations for dependent variables are constructed.
