The dissertation is devoted to research of peculiarities of criminal liability for violation of rules related to traffic or driving safety by drivers. The first section devoted to state of scientific elaboration and direction for enhancement and historical transformation of criminal liability for violation of rules related to traffic or driving safety by drivers defines that these issues receive great attention from Ukrainian researches and abroad. The work analyses scientific positions of Ukrainian and foreign scientists on criminal liability for violation of rules related to traffic or driving safety by drivers and defines the level of its implementation in the modern criminal legislature of Ukraine.
