Essay

The thesis presents the results of a comprehensive study on the effective management of small and medium enterprises in Ukraine on the basis of benchmarking. The expediency of forming a scientific approach to improving the theory and practice of effective management of small and medium business in Ukraine using modern tools that allowed to take the best competitive position of domestic enterprises not only in domestic but also in world markets. The essence of the process of effective management of enterprise development on the basis of benchmarking is generalized and systematized. The work further uses the use of basic principles of benchmarking in management practice by small and medium-sized enterprises: uniqueness; flexibility; effectiveness; versatility and consistency to maintain long-term competitive advantage and unique competencies, the creation of goods and services. The methodical approach to effective management of development of small and average enterprises on the basis of benchmarking is formed. A new business strategy for enterprise development management has been identified, the essence of which is to identify potential growth points for determining the priority of improving individual business processes and increasing the competitiveness of business. The components of diagnostics systems of small and medium enterprises functioning in competitive conditions are revealed in the work. The main components of the sequence of determining the existing competitive advantages of a particular enterprise are considered and improved, which are based on synergetic structural-dynamic trinity of the matrix method of positioning in target markets, regression-correlation analysis Possibilities for improving the efficiency of small and medium business development management as a result of benchmarking have been identified. The expediency of using benchmarking tools to increase the efficiency of small and medium enterprises is substantiated. For the first time the main components to the three-criteria assessment of the efficiency of business processes of the enterprise on the basis of variable benchmarking are formed and substantiated, where depending on the localization of "bottlenecks" the appropriate type of benchmarking is chosen. accelerating the development of various industries; regional - to increase the level of innovative development of efficient enterprises in the region; industry - to attract to this level of other, less efficient companies in a particular market segment. The mechanism of functional-organizational application of benchmarking for effective management of development of small and medium enterprises as a set of regulatory and interactive variable measures of balanced upward development of the enterprise in both foreign and domestic markets is revealed. The effectiveness of measures for effective management of small and medium business development on the basis of benchmarking due to the variety of approaches to the development of individual management decisions, focus on strategic goals of enterprise development.
