Essay

The purpose of the study is to increase the effectiveness of periodontal diseases complex treatment in junior students on psycho-emotional stress background by studying the features of the clinical course and justification of treatment choice. For the first time, the level of psycho-emotional load in junior students of IFNMU was studied and a high level of certain emotional states such as anxiety, frustration, aggression and rigidity was set. It is established that chronic generalized periodontitis of initial stage is more often defined at students with increased level of anxiety, and chronic generalized periodontitis I stage – at students with a high level of anxiety. It was concluded that the course of the initial-I stage GP in students with psycho-emotional stress background depended on anxiety level. The scientific data on the indicators of periodontal indices in the conditions of chronic generalized periodontitis of initial and I stages, taking into account the level of anxiety, have been supplemented. The results of oral fluid biochemical studies, which confirm a direct relationship between imbalance of the prooxidant-antioxidant system and the development of periodontal disease, as well as the level of anxiety of patients. The medical complex, which included the use for local treatment «Octenisept» solution and «Lizak» drugs, and for general – «Noofen» and «Vita-Supradin Active» drugs, was developed and used for GP complex treatment in students with increased emotional load background and found high efficacy.
