According to the results of a prospective study of 117 women of reproductive age with infertility of functional genesis and 33 women of the control group, the author for the first time analyzed the causal relationships and pathogenetic factors of infertility caused by pelvic varicose veins based on a comprehensive study of hormonal profile, endothelial function and pelvic blood supply with the definition of correlations. An indisputable scientific novelty is the modern methodical analysis of the state of reproductive system of women with infertility on the background of ovarian varicocele by studying the anamnestic data, features of menstrual and reproductive function. The author studied in details the features of the anatomical and functional state of the venous system of pelvic organs in women with infertility on the background of ovarian varicocele according to the results of ultrasound angioscanning in combination with color Doppler, laparoscopy. On the basis of the conducted researches, namely studying of clinical characteristics, an estimation of level of sex hormones, a condition of endothelial function, indicators of instrumental methods of research the author for the first time estimated ovarian reserve at women with infertility and ovaricovaricocele. The author's latest approach to the problem of pelvic varicose veins, in particular ovaricovaricocele, allowed to develop a step-by-step scheme of correction of reproductive function with the definition of indications for conservative and surgical treatment of pelvic varicose veins in women with infertility and ovarian varicocele, which is certainly a significant practical contribution to modern gynecology and reproductive medicine.
