Object of research: technology of acetophenone production; objective: development of bases of technology of synthesis of acetophenone by oxidation of ethylbenzene by ozone-containing gas in a liquid phase; methods: kinetic and non-kinetic research methods, spectrophotometric method, GLC method, NMR method, IR- spectroscopy method, iodometric method; novelty: for the first time a systematic study of the reaction of ozone with ethylbenzene in acetic acid was carried out and the basics of the technology for obtaining acetophenone were developed; results of the study: scientific bases of technology of oxidation of ethylbenzene by ozone in acetic acid solution are developed; the obtained experimental and theoretical results allowed to propose a new high-efficiency low-temperature low-waste technology for acetophenone production (288K, atmospheric pressure); the branch: chemical and bioengineering.
