The purpose of the dissertation research is to study the administrative and legal basis of the National Police of Ukraine to combat domestic violence, formulate theoretical conclusions and scientifically sound proposals to improve their effectiveness based on a comprehensive analysis of modern scientific papers on this issue and current legislation of Ukraine. also relevant law enforcement practices. The essence of legal relations that arise in the process of combating domestic violence as an object of administrative and legal regulation is clarified. The place of the National Police in the system of subjects of combating domestic violence has been determined. The place of legal regulation among the legal bases of counteraction to domestic violence by the National Police is outlined. The principles of combating domestic violence in the activities of the National Police are highlighted. The functions of individual units of the National Police in combating domestic violence have been identified. Forms of counteraction to domestic violence by the National Police are described. A description of the administrative and jurisdictional activities of individual units of the National Police to combat domestic violence. The main problems of adaptation of the administrative legislation of Ukraine on combating domestic violence to the legislation of the European Union are revealed. The interaction of the National Police with other state bodies and non-governmental organizations in combating domestic violence is described. Foreign experience in combating domestic violence by law enforcement agencies and the possibility of its adaptation to the activities of the National Police have been studied.
