Danylenko A. Public administration principles in Ukraine

The purpose of the work is to review and clarify the principles of public administration in Ukraine, identify problematic issues and outline current trends in its development. Doctrinal approaches to understanding the concept of "public administration" and to form a modern vision of its categorical-conceptual essence are described. The social content of public administration in Ukraine is determined through the prism of idealization. The normative content of public administration in Ukraine is described. It is clarified which theoretical concept reveals the current state of the updated understanding of the importance of the responsibilities of the state, the conditions and forms of their implementation and in general the relationship of government entities with society. The principles of public administration for candidate and potential candidate countries to the EU are analyzed for compliance of reform processes in Ukraine with European standards. The characteristic features of the strategic development of public administration in Ukraine are revealed and to form the author's vision of the Strategy of development of public administration in Ukraine for the period 2020–2030.
