The dissertation considers the genesis of the formation and development of financing and logistics of the National Police of Ukraine, within which the following historical periods are distinguished: 1) the initial period (III millennium BC); 2) the period of the early Middle Ages (end of V - VIII centuries); 3) the Kievan Rus 'period (Kievan Rus') (IX-XIII centuries); 4) the Lithuanian-Polish period (XIV-XVI centuries); 5) the reign of Peter I (end of the seventeenth century. Beginning of the eighteenth century.); 6) the reign of Catherine II (XVIII century); 7) the Soviet period (twentieth century); 8) the period of Ukrainian independence (the end of the twentieth century and to this day).
It is determined that the financing of the National Police is an appropriate process by which funds are allocated from the budget, credited, distributed and transferred to the appropriate account of the administrator within the limits set by estimates and approved in the state budget to ensure the National Police and other sources prohibited by law. Accordingly, the logistical support of the National Police of Ukraine is a process of circulation of material goods (means of production and consumer goods) organized by the state and its bodies and their most rational delivery from producers to consumers (police). At the same time, financial support of the National Police of Ukraine is a process of distribution of budget funds, as well as receipt and use of financial resources from other sources not prohibited by law, in the amounts necessary for wages, medical, sanatorium, pension, housing and other types of social security for police officers and, in certain cases, members of their families. It is proved that the financial and logistical support of the National Police of Ukraine is a system of commodity-money and economic relations that arise between bodies and divisions of the National Police, on the one hand, and authorities, enterprises, organizations and institutions, on the other hand. the process of centralized supply of material, technical and military resources (raw materials, fuel, equipment, property, materials, weapons and ammunition); execution of purchase and sale agreements (wholesale trade), realization of funds of commission and retail sale of products and means of production; provision of logistical assistance and financing.
