Essay

The development of the regulatory framework for the regulation of shale gas production in Ukraine is a new direction in the development of domestic legal science. In its history, Ukraine has not produced shale gas, as a result of which the peculiarities of its production are practically not regulated by national legislation, but the production of unconventional hydrocarbons is considered as one of the priority areas for the development of the energy sector of our country. Unfortunately, the study of the features of the regulation of shale gas production in Ukrainian law was almost not carried out, and most of the foreign studies available in the relevant field are based on international, including European law and the legislation of foreign countries.
