Essay

Using modern and adequate methods of study and the appropriate quantity of the material, for the first time, we have definedthe peculiarities of the development of palmar structures’ morphologyand topography, the stages offormation of the topography of palmar and aponeurosis arteries, their topographic-anatomicinterrelation with adjacent structureswithin the fetal and early neonatal periods of human ontogenesis. For the first time, identified were the periods of the rapid growth of a palmduring the second and the third fetal trimester, and the period of their relatively slow morphogenesis. Achronological sequence of time and place-related transformations of morphometricparameters of a palmand a palmar aponeurosis's got clarified for all stages of perinatal development, extending significantlythe modern understanding of peculiarities of an ontogenetic chronology in a palm's structures development, making it possible to substantiate. The totality of the research results gives us a new look at peculiarities of the development of perinatal structure and topography of a palm, a palmar aponeurosis, its bones and arteries, individual and age-related anatomical variability.
