The dissertation is a completed scientific work which solves a specific scientific task to determine the design principles of educational premises of higher education institutions in the field of arts, as well as to develop recommendations for the adaptation of the interiors of existing institutions to modern requirements of educational space. The concept of formal and informal educational space on the basis of higher education institutions is clarified. For the first time, the main factors influencing the principles of design of the modern educational premises of higher education institutions in the field of arts are revealed and systematized. A model of flexible educational space based on the principles of integration of formal and non-formal components is proposed; the concept of design of such space is developed. Promising functional and spatial models of architectural and planning organization of a modern institution of higher education in the field of arts are revealed. For the first time, the classification of modern coworking based on a number of characteristics as prototypes of student informal educational space is developed. Means and methods of interior design of the modern educational environment of higher education institutions in the field of arts are defined. Recommendations on adaptation of existing interiors of educational space of higher education institutions to modern requirements are offered. the principles of design of the educational environment of the higher learning institutions in the field of arts are further developed.
