Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the stipulation of the theoretical and methodological fundamentals of the financial mechanism of social support of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the conditions of the reformation process. The work presents the research dedicated to the content of the financial mechanism of social support of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, that is evidently presented by an overall complex of measures aimed at establishing and implementing the financial resources with the aim of material and monetary support of servicemen in cases provided by law. With the assistance of the financial mechanism the distribution and the redistribution of certain financial resources is carried out in order to provide monetary and material support to the life and health of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine both in monetary and natural forms. The main types of social support of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been scrutinized, among them the monetary support, the retirement allowance, food supplies, material support, medical support, provision of housing and accommodation, the provision of a single monetary assistance in the case of perishing (death), disability or the partial loss of the ability to work without establishing the disability of servicemen; the compensatory payment for material belongings, hiring of premises to live in, the service premises and journeys carried out in the line of duty, and also for an unused vacation and others; the reward for the direct participation in military conflicts of the anti-terroristic operation, the operation of the United Forces, other events under the conditions of the emergency period and privileges.
