Dolhochub V. Reconstruction practices and ways of representation of the traditional culture in Ukraine at the beginning of the XXIst c.

The dissertation research is devoted to practices of Ukrainian ethnic traditional culture reconstruction (when persons without local cultural heritage try to reconstruct some of its elements) and ways of representation in such practices. Special attention is drawn to the relation between reconstruction practices and ethnic traditional culture as it is. The source base of the research consists of archive materials, published on paper and on the Internet narratives of the traditional culture reconstructors, media publications, visual content, field expeditionary materials (interviews, questionnaires) etc. The products of reconstructors` activity were identified as cultural forms, reflected as ethnographical objects and cultural heritage. These forms demonstrate wide spectrum of transformations concerning ethnic culture, which is represented by them.
