One of the priority and socially important areas of work of a furniture designer is creating the design of modern, comfortable, reliable, and innovative furniture. Given the important role that the kitchen plays for a person, the designer of the interior environment and furniture should pay special attention to creating conditions of maximum comfort for future residents. The rapid development of technology has led to a significant increase in the quantity and quality of automated and mechanized devices and innovative materials, which have become an integral part of people's everyday life and the kitchen design and equipment. At the same time, the situation is slightly complicated by the lack of research and methodological studies dedicated to the design of kitchen furniture. In general, it can be argued that the real-life practice of kitchen cabinet furniture design, which can change monthly, is significantly ahead of the relevant theoretical investigations. As the kitchen with its modern furniture and equipment is becoming one of the key elements of interior, a modern designer faces the task, while creating the design, to consider applying in practice the latest technological advances that facilitate household activities and improve the quality of human life. As equipping kitchens with modern furniture, the latest materials and accessories also influences the formation of artistic and figurative look of the interior, the study of the design of kitchen cabinet furniture in residential houses at the present stage is rather important and timely. Thus, the study of the design of kitchen cabinet furniture in residential houses at the present stage is an actual scientific and applied issue, and the proposed study is designed to consider new facets and suggest possible ways to solve it, taking into account the best Ukrainian and foreign experience.
