Essay

The dissertation work is devoted to solving the current scientific problem - substantiation of parameters and characteristics of a new type of mobile fire installations, the basic element of which are segways. The main attention is paid to the development of a set of mathematical models that describe the processes in the elements of such fire installations, at the site of delivery of extinguishing agent and to the combustion center, as well as take into account the presence of a human operator. According to the classification of mobile fire extinguishers, according to which these means are divided into air, water and ground, the considered samples of fire extinguishers and their characteristics are considered. It was found that a promising mobile fire extinguisher is a means of segway, which is autonomous, compact, small and highly maneuverable and can be used to extinguish fires (especially at an early stage) indoors with an expanded range of extinguishing agents. If the main part of mobile fire extinguishers has a scientific justification for the choice of their parameters and characteristics, then for mobile fire installations, which are implemented on the basis of Segways, such a justification is practically absent.
