Essay

In the thesis, kinematics of stars located within the Solar neighborhood and belonging to different Galactic subsystems has been analized. Dependencies of kinematic parameters as well as beyond-the-model decomposition coefficients onto a set of vector spherical harmonics on heliocentric distance, spectral class, color index, stellar age have been traced. Values of the vertical gradient of the rotational velocity of stars around the galactic center have been estimated by the direct method. By modeling the stellar velocity field, connection between the beyond-the-model t211 and s310 coefficients and the vertical gradient has been established. The coefficient s310 has been shown to have additional source of its appearance.
