Essay

The dissertation solves the actual scientific and applied task of justification the rational parameters of the technological process and mean of scissor cutting blanks made of corrugated cardboard for the development of the universal equipment for manufacture large-sized packaging cut-outs. To eliminate drawbacks that arise during the manufacture of large-sized packaging made of corrugated cardboard, it has been proposed to use scissors cutting method for cardboard blanks fixed on immovable counter blades by cutting discs that are placed on carrier shaft and perform the oncoming movement. To provide advanced technical capabilities for the mean functioning for manufacturing of large-sized packaging, it has been proposed to use the combined dual-crank mechanism with correcting cam that provides the implementation of changing the length of the conditional connecting rod of the drive mechanism. Experimental researches have been held with the use of modern methods, hardware and software that made it possible to obtain reliable values of the torques of cutting forces with minimal measurement error. A comprehensive study of kinetic power consumption during slots cutting in corrugated cardboard blanks has been assumed.
