Herasymiuk B. Optimization of diagnosis and treatment of Achillobursitis

The dissertation is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of achillobursitis (AB). It is known that Achilles tendon disease is a serious pathology of the musculoskeletal system, as it significantly affects the level of physical activity and professional abilities of the patient. The aim of this study was to improve the treatment results of patients with retrocalcaneal bursitis by optimization the diagnosis and implementation of an etiopathogenetic treatment. This work presents the basic principles of diagnosis and treatment of AB, determines the diagnostic accuracy of clinical and instrumental tests, conducted biomechanical research using computer modeling, developed an algorithm for differential diagnosis and treatment, introduced the use of orthopedic insoles with a height of 20.0 mm in treatment.
